Electrical

Domestic and commercial electrical work, carried out by ‘City & Guilds’ Joint Industry Board qualified electricians and registered with NICEIC. All work complies with current Building Regulations.

Lighting and rewiring

Flickering lights, blown fuses or power cuts can all point to wiring that needs replacing. We inspect the property first, which matters most in older homes, then remove faulty or non-compliant wiring and fit modern cable throughout, followed by rigorous testing. While the walls are open, it’s a good time to switch to energy-efficient LED lighting too.

  • LED and spot lighting
  • Warehouse and office lighting
  • Data cabling and fuse box rewiring
  • Single Phase 230V and 3 Phase 415V

Electrical consumer units

A consumer unit (fuse box or circuit breaker panel) controls the electricity around your home or business. Frequent tripping, electric shocks or flickering lights are all signs it may need replacing. If yours was installed more than 20 years ago, there is a higher chance it’s no longer compliant with current safety standards, so call us for expert advice and a thorough inspection.

  • Fuse box replacements
  • Consumer unit inspections
  • Upgrades to current safety standards

Testing, inspection and faults

From overheating cables and switch failures to outdated consumer units, we find the fault and put it right. We carry out Electric Installation Condition Reports and PAT testing for homes, landlords and businesses.

  • Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
  • PAT testing
  • Fault-finding and repairs

EV charging point installation

A home or workplace charger means your car is ready whenever you are, without waiting for a public charging point. We look at accessibility, distance to a power source and safety regulations, then work with you to pick the right spot for your EV charging point.

How often does an installation need an EICR?

An Electrical Installation Condition Report checks the wiring, fixtures and distribution boards for damage or anything that could cause a problem later. In the UK, landlords are required to provide a valid EICR every five years. Call us for an inspection as soon as you notice any issues.

Lighting that works the way you want it

Whether you’re upgrading all your light fixtures or simply want modern interior lighting, we can provide a budget-friendly solution with energy-efficient LED and spot lighting.

“Our spotlights were flickering. The previous electrician did not fit them in standards and the pendant lights did not position as we wanted it. The team install another joint box to fix spotlights or change the cabling if necessary. Corrected position of the pendant lights.”

Home ventilation systems

Humidity, condensation and mould are all reasons to improve ventilation. We install a wide range of ventilation systems and air curtains that can help reduce the risk of dampness in your property.

  • Ventilation systems
  • Air curtains
  • Extractor fans

Ventilation heat recovery (MVHR)

An MVHR system brings in fresh air without throwing away the warmth: a heat exchanger captures heat from the air going out and passes it to the fresh air coming in. We fit whole house or partial systems, which are proving very popular with landlords and homeowners.

  • Superior air quality
  • Quiet operation
  • Minimal heat loss

Solar panels

Solar panels generate clean, renewable energy to power your home and help cut your electricity bills. We start with a site assessment of the orientation, tilt, shading and structural integrity of your roof, and test the system once it’s installed.

  • Site assessment
  • Solar panel installation
  • Testing on completion

Safety certificates

Upon completion of every job, we issue a certification as proof that all inspection, testing, and safety requirements have been successfully carried out. For landlords, we’ll work around your tenants to keep disruption to a minimum.

  • Electrical certificates on every job
  • EICRs for landlords and homeowners
  • Fault-finding if we find a problem
